The new Colour & Cotton hand-dyed threads are on the wall, and I'm opening the shop back up Thursday evening so you can really get into them. A selection will be out on a tasting table with scrap fabric and needles, so you can stitch a few test crosses before you commit to a colour.

At 6:30 I'll do a short demo — three things to know about working with hand-dyed thread. 

Fifteen minutes, no charge, and it covers the things that trip people up: dye lots, how it behaves differently from DMC, and how to pick shades that work together.

We'll have a treat of cider and something sweet to enjoy!
