From Jan: I found this sweet marking sampler in an antique shop in Eguisheim, France. My original name for this design was La Petite Rouge and I had every intention of making it a little red sampler. But then my eyes fell on the lovely silks from Almond M&Ms, and I decided to stitch it in turquoise (Spruce) and cream (Snow Drift). I switched between the two colors as I worked on each section. As I was stitching, I decided I needed a pop of color, and added the coral silk (Bayberry), and decided to use that only for the numbers. This is when the name "Make It Your Own" was born. My hope is that your customers will choose their favorite colors and threads and truly make this sampler their own.
